WE BUY COOL STUFF.
Walk-in sellers are welcome anytime during open hours Wednesdays and Thursdays and by appointment only on Fridays and Sundays. We do not do any buying on Saturdays.
If you have something you think we’d like to buy, we highly encourage that you contact us via email with a description of what you have before stopping into the store.
Please remember, we cannot pay retail price for your items, our offer will be based on a number of factors including condition of the item and packaging, rarity, desirability, quantity, format, etc.
MOVIES
VHS
What we are looking for – Horror, Exploitation, B-movies, 80’s sex comedies (Porky’s, Meatballs, Revenge of the Nerds, Ski School etc.) Sci-Fi, Anime, 80’s and 90s Cartoons (GI Joe, TMNT, Voltron, Simpsons, Beavis and Butthead), Wrestling, Vintage XXX.
What we DO NOT buy – Disney, common blockbusters (Top Gun, Indiana Jones, Austin Powers etc.) home movies, movies without slipcovers or clamshells. While we can’t buy these types of tapes, we welcome donations of any and all VHS tapes. We reuse parts and pieces of common tapes to restore and preserve other tapes.
DVDs
We do not buy DVD’s unless they boutique releases i.e. Criterion Collection, Vinegar Syndrome, Troma etc.
Blue Ray / 4k
We’re mostly just buying horror blu-rays. There may be a few exceptions depending on the movie, feel free to email us if you have titles you think we may want.
Laserdiscs, BetaMax, CED, and film reels
We buy these on a title by title basis.
MUSIC
We buy cassettes, CD’s and LP’s. All music must be in good, playable condition.
Genres we’re looking for are heavy metal, punk, alternative/grunge, early hip hop and rap, 70’s hard rock.
Books/Magazines
Goosebumps, horror novels, Scream Queens Illustrated, Rue Morgue, Femme Fatales, Draculina. Pre-2000 adult and XXX magazines.
toys
80’s and 90’s toys. TMNT, MOTU, GI Joe, Garfield, Madballs, Garbage Pail Kids etc.
NO Beanie Babies, Barbies, Cabbage Patch Kids, sports cards, or Pokemon cards.
Electronics
We buy vintage cassette players, record players, VCR’s, Betamax players, Laserdisc players, vintage boomboxes, walkmans and CRT tv’s UNDER 22 inches. We DO NOT buy dvd players, flat screen TV’s, or large CRTs.
odds & ends
We also love vintage advertising (70’s -90’s), movie memorabilia, music memorabilia, weird, unique, macabre and unusual items. If you have something you think we’d like that you don’t see listed in the categories above, send us an email, we may want to buy it!
