Paragon: She’s Alive!

She’s alive! Paragon is up and running and playing great!

After re-pinning most of the connectors both for the MPU and the solenoid board, reflowing solder on the header pins and replacing the solenoid board capacitors, the game boots and plays perfectly. All the coils fire correctly, the drops reset as they should and the slings, pops and flippers are all nice and strong.

I threw some LED’s in mostly to see which light sockets might need to be cleaned but they’re 2smd cool white and don’t have the right look so I’ve got an order of Comet 1smd warm white lights on the way that I’ll deck the whole game out with. Once they arrive I’ll tear the playfield down, give it a thorough cleaning and waxing before laying a playfield protector on it, install the new lights and she’ll be ready to play!
